Tori Pyle of Brighter Than Gold Yoga is a yoga teacher, folk herbalist and historian among many titles and offers practices to connect people to themselves and the world around them using the wisdom of yoga and herbalism. Tori seeks to reweave humans into the fabric of the world, to discover the spark of truth and aliveness that is brighter than gold. In this episode Tori and I chat about the intersection of yoga asana and herbalism, plant allies, tips to build relationship with plants, the practice of connecting when going outdoors, lessons in the changes of season and landscape that occur overtime and how we can develop an appreciation of all weather patterns and climates, even those that feel uncomfortable.
Tori's Plants as our Teachers Workshop is an online gathering where we will learn about plant personalities, affinities, favorite places, and ways to interact with them so you can deepen your next adventure outdoors. Join the next online workshop with the Inner Light Botanicals community on October 25th here!
